Terms of service
Longtake is a studio for shooting AI video: projects, scenes, takes, characters whose voice stays the same between scenes. The subscription pays for the studio. The renders themselves run on your own provider keys, at the provider's own price — we add nothing on top.

1. Who you are dealing with
The studio is operated by IE Pavel Ilin. Contact for anything in this document, including notices and complaints: earthquakedev@icloud.com. By using Longtake you accept these terms; if you don't accept them, don't use it.
2. The account
You sign in with Google (or Apple). One person, one account; keep access to it safe. Everything created under your account is yours to manage — and yours to answer for. The studio is not for people under 16.
3. Free use, and what the subscription covers
The studio itself is free to use: sign in, add your own provider keys and shoot. There is no trial period, because the tools are not behind the payment at all. Model tokens are never included either way — the providers bill them directly to your keys, and what a take costs there is what it costs you.
What a subscription buys is that your work stays. Without one, a project is open for 24 hours from the moment it is created; after that it locks — the files stay on our servers, but the project cannot be opened or added to — and 7 days after it was created it is deleted permanently, together with its takes, assets, characters and images. Deletion cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep before the date the studio shows on the project. Projects that existed before this rule took effect started their clock on the day it did.
- €9.99 per month or €95.99 per year. A subscription unlocks every project on the account and stops the clock on all of them, including projects that have already locked.
- An account that has ever paid gets a longer clock, not an endless one: if a subscription lapses, its projects lock on the usual schedule, and they are deleted 90 days after the paid period ended. We write to you 14 days before that date. Paying for a single month unlocks everything again, which is also the way to download work from a locked project.
- Cancel any time from the account menu. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. If a payment fails, the subscription lapses and its projects go back on the clock described above; the studio itself keeps working.
- If something goes wrong on our side, write to us — refunds are handled case by case, and nothing here limits rights you have by law.
- Prices can change. We will announce a change before it applies to you, and it never affects a period already paid for — you can always cancel instead.
4. Your keys, your providers
The studio sends your prompts and references to the provider you choose (BytePlus, Google, Kling, fal.ai) using your key. Those providers set their own prices, limits, content rules and moderation. We can't overrule a refusal, restore tokens spent on a bad take, or promise a model will keep behaving as it does today.
The keys are yours, and so is everything spent through them: keep them safe, watch your provider balance, and remove a key from the studio if you no longer want it used. We are not a party to your agreement with a provider.
5. What you may not do
- Break the law, or the providers' rules, through the studio.
- Make material depicting real people without their consent — in particular anything sexual, defamatory, or intended to deceive.
- Upload content you have no right to use, or use the studio to infringe someone's rights.
- Try to bypass moderation, resell access, or automate abuse of the service.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
6. Your work
Your prompts, uploads and takes remain yours; we claim no rights to them and do not use them to train anything. Whether a generated video can be used commercially — and who holds what — follows the terms of the provider that rendered it. We store your work so the studio can show it to you, and delete it when you delete it.
7. Availability
The studio is a small, actively developed product. It can be down for maintenance, a provider can be unavailable, a feature can change. We don't promise uptime, and we recommend downloading takes you care about.
8. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, tokens spent on results you didn't like, or content produced by third-party models. Nothing here removes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes, law and ending
These terms can change; the date at the top will change with them, and material changes will be announced in the studio. You can stop using the service at any time — cancel the subscription and, if you want, ask us to delete the account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5, and we will say why.
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, where the operator is registered. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not take away the protections your local law gives you. Let's try to sort out any disagreement by email first — it is faster than anything else.
